Overlooking the bustling bay area in the distance the lovely home has a striking skillion roof and a large open plan living area with helical stairs on opposite ends. is the largest city of the Mexican state of Hidalgo and is set in a small valley surrounded by picturesque mountains on all sides. It is these unique geographical conditions that end up shaping the breathtakingly beautiful and its exceptional series of covered terraces.
Having started as an idea for a cabin that floats on water ever so gently the ended up as a cabin on stilts that still allows its owner to enjoy live on a lake without breaking the local building codes.
Spatially the three different structures of the house contain three specialized areas with the edifice in the foreground housing the living area kitchen and other public spaces. One of the two rear structures hosts the master bedroom suite with the other containing the kids’ bedroom. An undulating roofscape puts the final touches on a truly mesmerizing lakeside home.
