Clad in white and punctured by the beautiful placed windows throughout the structure the façade is a blend of traditional rural design and modern aesthetics with insulation and privacy being top priorities.
With the living area also embracing the new kitchen dining space and the home office next to it each room flows into the next and eventually merge with the sweeping wooden deck and porch outside.
Despite its warm and inviting appeal clean lines and modern silhouettes ensure that the exterior of the cabin presents a private and distinctly contemporary appeal. All the drainage and electrical pipes have been carefully concealed while a wall of glass opens up the interior to the lake and the scenery outside. A small kitchen dining and living area occupy the lower level with a mezzanine floor bedroom.
Designed by GITC Arquitectura to overcome these initial hurdles the contemporary family house sits on a specially designed base as the nature of soil on the agricultural lot was simply not conducive for construction.
