In both the bedroom and the living area it is the fireplace that becomes the focal point of it all with inviting relaxation zones and conversation nooks next to them. White light gray and brown are used to shape the backdrop in each room with festive motifs acting as smart accents in a home where bright colors are a rarity.
A rough terrain and undulating landscape do not stop the architects from shaping a dramatic vacation home that the whole family can enjoy. An open living area along with kitchen and dining are set at the rear of the property and towards the glass façade while the front of the house holds the more private bedrooms. A dream escape in every sense of the word!
Natural goodness becomes a part of life at CSF House with the open living space embracing both the green spaces. It is the upper levels that contain the kids’ rooms along with the master bedroom and other private areas.
It is the parlor level that contains the ten-foot-high living area with a custom bookshelf that which is cleverly extended to fashion a circulation space for the two cats in the house.
Designed by Feste Landscape / Architecture the 26-sqaure meter cabin has a small mezzanine level and a stylish deck that allows its denizens to relax outdoors and enjoy a stunning view of the lake and the landscape beyond.
